I am a PhD student in Dr. Tom Lacher's lab in the Department of Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences and the Applied Biodiversity Science program at Texas A&M University.
I am currently based in Santa Marta, Colombia on a Fulbright Fellowship where I am examining the vulnerability of threatened amphibian and small mammal species to land use and climate change.
I am the IUCN Red List project coordinator for the Small Mammal Specialist Group (SMSG). As of January 2018, all species re-assessments for the America's have been submitted to the Red List. Lastly, I am an Associate Conservation Scientist for Global Wildlife Conservation based out of Austin, TX.
I received my MS in Wildlife and Fisheries Biology from Clemson University (2015), where I was advised by Dr. Kyle Barrett. My thesis focused on assessing marsh bird vulnerability to sea level rise in South Carolina and Georgia.
I have a strong interest in science communication, videography (check out my creations page!), and outreach.
